Canterbury Water Services Limited has been operating since 2014 and is based in both Rangiora and Culverden. We are run by James Barnett who has a vast range of experience working in the farming and agricultural industry for over 25 years. James and his team fully understand the needs and time restraints of farmers and the importance of water. He runs a team of 5 service trucks and has 6 well trained and experienced staff that understand our systems and installations perfectly.

James ensures the smooth running (both hands on and managing his staff) of Canterbury Water Services and takes pride in having a good rapport with all his clients. Being based in North Canterbury and having experienced staff and access to our local workshop and stock/fittings used in all aspects of farm and house water we are able to offer an efficient service to you – with both the installation and servicing aspects.

We strive to offer a high quality installation and supply services as well as efficient maintenance and repair service; in all aspects of farm water – he and his team are on call 24/7.

We pride ourselves in our solid set irrigation installation and are able to offer a well-rehearsed system having installed multiple small and large units throughout the Hurunui district. We only use top quality parts from well-known brands, offer an efficient and quality installation as well as a prompt on call and problem solving/ maintenance service as we are situated locally.

CWS also have a good rapport with the contractors we use to assist in the installations which includes surveyors, digger and dozer operators, fencers, drill and Hiab operators. Also our trusted suppliers enable us to ensure installations are completed to our high standard and deadlines are meet to have systems running when needed.
